Webinar: Mainstreaming Precision Agriculture for Increased Productivity and Profitability in African Agricultural Systems
ISPA is pleased to host the African Association for Precision Agriculture's November webinar. The webinar will focus on mainstreaming precision agriculture for increased productivity and profitability in African agricultural systems. The 90 minute webinar will include presentations from Professor Andrew Manu of Iowa State University and Dr. Oluwole Fatumbi of FARA. There will be time at the end for questions. The webinar will be moderated by Professor Kwame Agyei Frimpong, AAPA Community Leader.

In 2023 the Research Data Alliance will celebrate its 10th anniversary and will commemorate this important milestone by organizing a series of international and regional events and activities. Each month of 2023, from February to November, will be dedicated to a specific theme related to research data management of relevance to the RDA community. The RDA Secretariat and regional bodies are organizing various thematic events and activities (e.g., webinars, workshops and podcasts).
- February: FAIR data, software and hardware
- March: A Decade of Data: The RDA’s 20th Plenary meeting
- April: Health and medical data
- May: Metadata and technical infrastructure
- June: Agriculture and environmental data
- July: Research data policy
- August: Disciplinary data
- September: Sustainable development and responsible research
- October: International Data Week— A Festival of Data
- November: Research data management support and education
Aligned with the 10th anniversary schedule, a virtual workshop will take place each month to bring RDA Working groups, Interest groups and Communities of Practice with a similar focus together to discuss the future of the research data management themes within the RDA community over the next five years.

Agriculture Education Courses Database

A mission of the ISPA is to further education in precision agriculture across the globe. In order to strengthen that incitive, ISPA will be compiling a list of current agriculture courses offered by colleges and universities and an outcome of the recent 2022 membership survey. Please complete the survey to let us know about a course or courses you instruct or a course(s) you have participated in. If you would like to submit a survey for multiple courses, please complete a new form for each course.
