14th ECPA Update
The 14th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA2023) will take place in Bologna Italy under the theme "Unleashing the Potential of Precision Agriculture." With about 240 presenters, consisting of 140 theatre presentations and 100 posters spanning over four days from the 3rd to the 6th of July 2023, the event expects to draw in more than 400 participants.
However, there is more to this conference than just a series of presentations. Attendees will be able to witness a field demonstration featuring various research groups and manufacturers. Additionally, parallel events organized by institutions such as CREA, Confagricoltura, and AgriTech, the newly minted Italian centre dedicated to agri-technology, will provide a fertile ground for collaboration and exploration.
The content of ECPA2023 showcases the emerging trends in Precision Agriculture, highlighting a significant interest in Artificial Intelligence and integrated approaches. These approaches involve intertwining spatial techniques with Machine Learning and combining remote and proximal sensing. A dedicated session will delve deep into the cutting-edge advancements and far-reaching implications of robotics in the field of precision agriculture.
#OFE2023 – Abstract submission is open until July 1st
You may submit your 150-word abstract here.
