1. Factors Influencing the Timing of Precision Agriculture Technology Adoption in Southern U.S. Cotton ProductionTechnology innovators in cotton production adopted precision agriculture (PA) technologies soon after they became commercially available, while others adopted these technologies in later years after evaluating the success of the innovators. The timing of... D.M. Lambert, J.A. Larson, B.C. English, R.M. Rejesus, M.C. Marra, A.K. Mishra, C. Wang, P. Watcharaanantapong, R.K. Roberts, M. Velandia |
2. Comparison Of Calibration Models Developed For A Visible-Near Infrared Real-Time Soil SensorThe visible-near infrared (Vis-NIR) based real-time soil sensor (RTSS) is found to be a great tool for determining distribution of various soil properties for precision agriculture purposes. However, the developed calibration models applied on the collected spectra for prediction of soil properties were site-specific (local). This is found to be less practical since the RTSS needs to be calibrated separately for every field. General calibration approach is expected to minimize... S. Shibusawa, M. Kodaira, I. Kana, S.N. 3. The Development of a Real-time Monitoring System Using IoT Sensor TechnologyThis study developed an IoT-based monitoring system for cold storage of agricultural products. Using temperature-humidity, CO₂, and ethylene sensors with Raspberry Pi, real-time data were collected and analyzed. Field tests showed stable monitoring of temperature (3~8 °C), humidity (77~92%), and CO₂ (450~1400 ppm), while no ethylene was detected. The system demonstrated reliable performance and potential to improve quality control and efficiency in post-harvest storage. ... H. Joo kim |
