2020 ISPA Elections
The nomination committee of ISPA is requesting nominations for the following offices for the ISPA
  • President Elect – (Six year appointment) to serve as President Elect from July 2020 to July 2022, and then move to President for July 2022 to July 2024 and then to Past-President 2024-2026.
  • Secretary – (Two year appointment) to serve from July 2020 to July 2022
  • Treasurer - (Four year appointment) to serve from July 2020 to July 2024
 
The ISPA is governed by an international Board of Directors consisting of elected officers (President, President-Elect, Past-President, Secretary, and Treasurer).  The office of President will be filled by the current president-elect, James Lowenberg-DeBoer. 
 
Regarding nominations for the available elected positions of President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer please feel free to nominate yourself! This is perfectly acceptable! The name of all nominators will be kept confidential.
 
To nominate an individual:
  1. The nominator must be a current member of ISPA.
  2. The nominee must be a current member of ISPA.
  3. Contact the nominee and verify that they are interested/available to serve as an officer. 
  4. Submit a short CV (no more than 2-pages) with a high resolution picture of nominee.
  5. Provide contact information for the nominee and the nominator.
  6. Please send nominations to nominations@ispag.org.
Nominations must be received by 8 June 2020
 
Elections will be held electronically. Ballots will be emailed to all ACTIVE ISPA members. Visit your My Account page (ispag.org/myaccount) to check your membership status - you will need to login using the email address associated with your membership. If questions please contact info@ispag.org
2024 ICPA Awards

Know a graduate student or outstanding scientist? Nominate them for the ISPA Outstanding Graduate Student Award or the ISPA Pierre C. Robert Precision Agriculture Award. Nomination submissions are due 16 APRIL 2024.

Brief descriptions of the awards in different categories are listed below:
 
Pierre C. Robert Precision Agriculture Award(s)
The Pierre C. Robert Precision Agriculture Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to precision agriculture science and technology and who are presenting an oral or poster paper at the conference. Two awards will be given in this category to a Young and Senior Scientist/Professional. The young scientist/professional must be 42 or younger; the senior scientist/professional over 42. Senior scientists/professionals must have 20 or more years of experience the majority of which must be in the area of precision agriculture.  The nominee must be an active member of ISPA. The selected candidates will be honored during the conference award ceremony with a Plaque of Achievement and US$1000 cash award.
 
 
Submissions
The entire nomination package must be submitted as one pdf file, in an e-mail attachment. Nomination submissions are due on or before 16 APRIL 2024 to the Chair of the ICPA Awards Committee, awards@ispag.org. Questions related to the awards nomination must also be addressed to awards@ispag.org.
 
ISPA Outstanding Graduate Student Awards
The purpose of this award is to recognize graduate student achievement, training, preparation and research in the area of precision agriculture.
 
Up to 10 awards will be made to graduate students presenting their research work (oral or poster paper) at the 16th ICPA conference. The award will consist of waived conference registration fees and US$500 cash award. The selected candidates will be honored during the conference award ceremony.
 
The award is administered by the Award Committee of the International Society of Precision Agriculture.
 
 
Submissions
The entire nomination package must be submitted as one pdf file, in an e-mail attachment. Nomination submissions are due on or before 16 APRIL 2024 to the Chair of the ICPA Awards Committee, awards@ispag.org. Questions related to the awards nomination must also be addressed to awards@ispag.org.
